Training on “Scientific knowledge on Disaster and Climate Change, Gender in Disaster and Climate Change Context, Early Warning System, and Participatory Research ” was co-organized by The Children and Women Development Center in Cambodia (CWDCC) and ActionAid Cambodia (AAC) from 25 to 26 February 2025. With a total of 31 participants, 27 females.
Training objectives:
• To raise awareness among Women Champion members and relevant stakeholders on Scientific knowledge on Disaster and Climate Change, Gender in Disaster and Climate Change Context, Early Warning System, and Participatory Research
• Strengthen the capacity of Women Champion Network and relevant stakeholders to collect data and compile the results of participatory research on issues and needs related to disasters, climate change and gender in the community.
Training results:
. Participants learned on SHEA and safe guarding, Gender in DRR CCA context, Scientific knowledge on DRR CCA, Early Warning System, Participatory research, How to collect data
. Participants practiced the participatory research on DRR, CCA and Gender.
