The School Green Eco-Friendly Campaign for Climate Resilience – Children and women Development Center in Cambodia (CWDCC)

Currently, the climate changes are impacted to worldwide, particularly in Cambodia as the most higher risk country in the world. The heat waves and droughts were frequently affected to education which most school in Cambodia has not yet enough trees to adapt the climate change and reduce the disaster risk.

This year 2026, CWDCC is start organizing the School Green Eco-Friendly Campaign for Climate Resilience. Which we started with 10 schools in our first mission to build the school resilience with climate change. This campaign was supported by ActionAid Cambodia, and donor from Italian People who kindly provides us the fund support to implement the Local Right Program. The event has the objectives and additional key actions as below:

1) Planting Trees and Increasing the greenery in schools,
2) Waste Management and Environmental Protection,
3) Creating the clean and hygienic learning environment, and
4) Improving the quality of education and gender responsive in climate resilience era.

Through our important campaign, CWDCC called for donors, partners, and stakeholders contribute together for combating the climate change for the world.
